We start this term with everyone reading a short simplified version of John Grisham's novel "A Time to Kill". In the back of the book there are "activites" Before you read, While you read, After you read. Write down the answers in your green notebooks. Read through all the all the activities but focus on After you read. The students will also get to see the film "The Jury" which is based on the novel.
Homework week: 3 chapter 1-3
Homework week: 4 chapter 4-6
Homework week: 5 chapter 7-9
Homework week: 6 chapter 10-12
On Mondays and Wednesdays we will work with different places and outdoor activities in the USA. The result will be shown at the exhibition, week 7. In half class on mondays we will have "Book talk". The students will also get time to read in their books during lessons. When we have finished reading the book the studenst will write a book report during lesson time.
